Thesis Abstract
Executive Summary
The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is located in downtown Chicago.
The building is partially underground and is found among the many venues
at Millenium Park. The auditorium of the theater accomodates 1,525 patrons
and hosts companies from all over the world. The majority of the public
areas of the theater are comprised of the auditorium and lobby areas. In
addition to those spaces are numerous support rooms. Due to the turnover
of performers, the theater provides numerous dressing rooms lounge areas
and practice rooms for each venue. The support areas also include storage
for sets and offices for the theater employees.
