Michael Troxell
Michael
attended high school at Garden Spot High School in New Holland, PA. After
high school, Michael enrolled at Penn State University in order to pursue
an Architectural Engineering degree in the structural option. Michael is now
in his ninth semester of the five year ABET accredited AE program and has
also been accepted into the integrated masters program. He is planning to
graduate in December of 2006 with both a Bachelors and a Masters of Architectural
Engineering degree. Michael used the knowledge he gained from Penn State,
related to structural design and analysis, to design custom homes at the engineering
firm Opela Worx Structural Engineers this past summer. He has also been able
to learn more through his part-time job at Civilsmith Engineering in State
College, where he has worked since September. Michael is a member of the Student
Society of Architectural Engineers as well as the Structural Engineers Association
at Penn State.
