Yulien Wong's Student Bio
Yulien Wong is currently a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree specializing in the design of mechanical systems and intends to graduate in May 2006. Yulien recently completed an internship at Joseph R. Loring & Associates Inc. in New York City. During his internship, Yulien gained hands on experience in designing mechanical systems for banks, schools, community centers, and other multi-purpose spaces. Yulien currently participates in student organizations including American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Student Society of Architectural Engineering (SSAE). Yulien is also currently involved in research relating to Indoor Air Quality. The research specifically involves the study of ultraviolet light and its effects against allergen particles. The main goal of this research is to determine whether the addition of ultraviolet will decrease the number of contaminant allergen particles from occupied spaces. In the future Yulien plans on pursuing his professional engineer’s license and becoming a LEED certified engineer.
