Research

The following is a lecture created as a result of research conducted with the Ambridge Area High School. It was created to serve as an introductory lesson to be utilized in a high school classroom to introduce and educated students on the benefits of LEED and green construction primarily in schools. The lecture is broken into three sections: First building industry facts, green building and LEED, and finally the benefits of going green. Also created are a Web Quest quiz to reinforce knowledge of the topic and allow students to conduct further research and a group project reinforcing the topic, with emphasis on teamwork and creativity, allowing students to use their own interests and abilities to spread awareness of green building to others outside their class.
