Technical Assignment 1 involves analyzing the existing lighting conditions in the Genetics Lab, auditorium, first and second floor lobby areas, and the exterior area between the classroom and laboratory buildings.

Technical Assignment 2 studies the existing electrical conditions of The Virginia Commonwealth University Life Sciences Building. The lighting, mechanical, and power loads were analyzed based on connected loads and NEC load calculations. The sizes of feeders used from the main switchboard were also checked. A brief summary of the telecommunications systems throughout the building is also provided.
