Thesis Proposal
In the Spring semester 2007, I will be studying serveral issues related to the Duquesne University Athletic Facility. First, vibration analysis will be conducted for the entire building, focusing on the upper, long spanning floors. Another area of my research will be conducted on the existing lateral system and the benefits of altering the braced frames.

Revised Proposal (1/26)
For my first breadth topic, I will study the construction effects of optimizing the existing gravity and lateral systems. Schedule, sequencing, and cost data will all be considered in this study. Secondly, I will look at the overall acoustical quality of the structure and where, if any, it can be improved.
