AE 481W/482 Course Reflection

Thesis is a two semester class that takes a deep look into a specific project. One semester is spent analyzing a building and the other proposing a potential change to the building. The class offers you the ability to learn through industry contacts. It is a good experience and can become overwhelming in the event you do not budget your time accurately. For all of those who will be in this class in the future I wish you the best of luck. LETS GO PSU!!!!!

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection

CPEP is an extremely easy to use tool. The templates for the thesis web pages make life very easy. It is also a method for industry to check in on you and perhaps recruit you for a future position.

The discussion board is a helpful tool, but should not be your main source of information. The board can be inconstant and often not helpful to your research related questions. Direct contact with industry, interviews and surveys are the more definite method to obtain the desired information you seek. To all of those in industry who do answer questions on the board, thank you.
