ACI 318 is the building code for structural concrete. All concrete design in the final report was in accordance with this code

The CRSI Design Handbook was utilized to obtain preliminary member sizes during the conceptual stages of design.

This catalog was found online in a PDF form and included various STC and IIC ratings for floor and wall assemblies. It was used for the acoustical analysis.

This textbook, used in AE309, was a helpful reference for the acoustical analysis. It includes several good diagrams and examples.

ASCE 7-05 was used to determine the loads, specifically wind and seismic loads. It is a standard engineering reference book.

This textbook, used for both AE402 and AE431, was used as a reference for concrete design. It includes many great examples to follow for concrete design by hand.

This article, found online, was extremely helpful in explaining the importance of acoustics in hospitals. It is based on a study performed at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
