William's Resume [Download PDF]

William is currently a 5th year Architectural Engineering student who is specializing in building mechanical design at The Pennsylvania State University. He intends to graduate in May 2008 with both Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering (B.A.E./M.A.E.). William will receive his Engineering in Training (E.I.T.) status upon graduation, and he intends on taking his LEED accreditation exam soon after.

William had always been interested in pursuing a career in the building industry. His passion was confirmed when he discovered the AE program at Penn State. The ability to provide indoor comfort and decrease human environmental impact led him to pursue the mechanical option in this field of study. To expand his understanding on human dwelling, William participated in Sedi Di Roma, a study abroad program. In the summer of 2006, he had an opportunity to study both architecture and Italian culture in Rome, Italy.

William gained much of his experience in engineering design during the past two summers working for MEP engineering firms. William first gained some mechanical design experience while working as an intern for BR+A Consulting Engineers in Boston, Massachusetts. This past summer, he interned for AKF Engineers in Princeton, New Jersey. William is very grateful for the experiences, knowledge, and connections he has gained.

Having lived in China, Japan, Italy and the United States, William's unique culture background allows him to combine the best of eastern and western culture. William has high aspiration for his professional career and life. Professionally, he looks forward to work for a challenging firm where he can advance in engineering and business skills, obtain a professional engineering license, and further career development.
