Technical Assignment 1 is an analysis on ventilation and indoor air quality requirements of City Hospital - Phase 1. ASHRAE Standard 62.1 are used to identify the required ventilation rates, and compare with the actual amount of outdoor air scheduled for the research facility. Findings of this report concludes whether Phase I complies with Standard 62.1.

Technical Assignment 2 is an energy analysis of Research Facility, a part of City Hospital – Phase I, Research Facility. LEED-NC rating system analysis is used to identify whether the project qualify for LEED Silver Certification. Building envelope, HVAC system efficiency, and lighting power density are examined and compared with ASHRAE Standard 90.1 -2004. In addition, the report included annual energy consumption and cost simulation for the Research Facility.
