Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Megan Kohut. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

AE 481W/482 Course Reflection
I learned more during the year of thesis than I have in the past five years of coursework combined. I feel that the thesis class was the most realistic part of the AE curriculum and therefore proved to be the most valuable. I think the thesis completion of the AE program puts AE students one step ahead of engineering students in other majors. This thesis course will prepare me to have a successful start to my career as a structural engineer.
CPEP and Discussion Board Reflection
I believe that the CPEP websites are an easy way for myself and others to monitor all the hard work I put into the thesis course over the past school year. Although most didn't understand the content, several friends and family members visited my website and were extremely impressed with all my work. I can also visit my CPEP website further down the road and see how much I have evolved as a structural engineer. The discussion board proved extremely helpful during the redesign process. For the most part, mentors responded efficiently to students' questions with knowledgeable and helpful suggestions. It was extremely helpful seeing other questions posted by my classmates. I saw problems and questions that they were having and was able to use them in order to help with my own project.
