Overall, the AE Senior Thesis Project was a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to apply the knowledge that I gained over the past years as a student in AE, and the knowledge I gained over various internships. I enjoy learning while completing a project rather than studying for an exam, so I particularly enjoyed thesis over other classes. Beyond learning more about engineering and lighting design, the nature of thesis taught me to manage my time wisely. I believe that the course is a valuable step for me as I begin my career, and continue learning beyond Penn State.

The CPEP website is a valuable tool for communicating the progress of my work. It is useful to have the work posted publicly because professionals can easily access student's work. It was also useful to refresh my skills in basic web development. The online discussion board is a great way to communicate with professionals. The almost instant feedback was very valuable.
