AE 481W & 482 Course Reflection
The two courses associated with our senior thesis projects were both extremely benefitial for everyone. AE 481W made the students familiarize themselves with the buildings that they picked for their year-long project. The technical reports that were completed in the Fall semester proved to be very helpful during the Spring semester as well providing existing conditions for the building. AE 482 was also very educational because it allowed us to persue our own personal interests as opposed to following a set cirriculum. That independence was both a relief and a challenge because of the self imposed schedule that was inforced by the students themselves. In the end, it was very rewarding because a body of work was created that was based 100% off of my will.
CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection
The CPEP is an excellent tool for posting and viewing both current and past senior thesis projects. With little website design experience, it was relatively simple to learn how to make and manage my CPEP site. It is nice to know that all of my hard work will be documented here for others to enjoy and learn from.
