Course Reflection

The Penn State Architectural Engineering Senior Thesis Project was a great year long experience that allowed the student to understand a specific building in great detail. Throughout this process the student was able to interact with the actual project team in discussing project information. The majority of time spent in the Fall 2013 semester was understanding the project, getting familiar with the project, and proposing analyses to be executed in the Spring 2014 semester. During the spring semester, the student worked through their own version of project problem areas and created their own plans. These analyses consisted of four areas with two breadth topics in which lie outside the primary discipline of study. The results of these analyses can be found in the Final Report. Overall, the Senior Thesis Project was both challenging and intriguing. Much was learned from this project and these experiences will better the student's career.

CPEP Reflection

Designing and maintaining my Capstone E-Portfolio was both a fun and beneficial process. The CPEP site can be used to present and quickly share my capstone work. Both the faculty and other industry members can brows through the many CPEP sites.
