Final Report This Final Report is the culmination of an entire academic year's worth of investigation into the mechanical systems of the Ed Roberts Campus. This objective of this report was to investigate the potential energy savings to be acheived with the proposed mechanical system renovations, as well as their impact on other building systems. An in depth investigation and energy model of the existing building conditions was conducted. The proposed systems, a Variable Refrigerant Flow HVAC System and a Solar Thermal Hot Water System, were designed and energy models were performed to evaluate their performance and economic viability.
