    FINAL REPORT

Proposed within the final report is an improved design for the Denver Police Department Crime Lab. In the lighting portion, a redesign of four different spaces is performed. The spaces are embodied by the concept of “Identity,” and they are as follows: the Lobby, the Main DNA Lab, the Multipurpose Room, and the South Plaza. The electrical depth contains a branch circuit redesign, a fire alarm integration analysis and the implementation of a photovoltaic array on the roof of the Crime Lab. Within the construction breadth, an analysis of the cost and construction schedule for the PV array are performed as well as an energy comparison of the new and existing fixtures. Lastly, the structural breadth examines the impact of the weight of the array on the existing roof systems.
