Livestock Production

In addition to a crop-based system, the Jacob’s Ladder site will include a pasture-based livestock operation with goats and cattle. Livestock production can supply milk and meat. and a poultry operation could provide the site with fresh meat and eggs. These livestock products may also serve as a source of income to the community and supplement the residents' diets with important vitamins and nutrients.
