Rusty Hoffman is currently in his fifth year at The Pennsylvania State University.  He is studying Architectural Engineering focusing in the construction management option.  His expected graduation date is May 2007.  Upon graduation he will receive his Bachelor’s of Architectural Engineering degree.

When deciding which career to follow when Rusty graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School, he reflected upon his past as a way to the future.  At a young age he was exposed to several construction projects, including the construction of his own home, which he participated in.  However he also enjoyed a challenge and working through unexpected events.  The Architectural Engineering program at Penn State has provided Rusty a perfect avenue to explore this interest in construction.

This past summer Rusty was fortunate enough to earn an internship with Warfel Construction Company out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  At Warfel he was assigned with a very experienced and supportive project team that provided invaluable experience to further his construction management abilities.

In his free time Rusty enjoys playing sports, hiking, and for the most part any outdoor activity.  He participated in intramural sports at Penn State including basketball, soccer, and softball.  Upon graduation Rusty plans to pursue work as a Project Engineer.

After completing his summer internship with Warfel Construction Company this past summer, the company offered Rusty a full time position as a Project Engineer starting in May 2007. Rusty accepted this position and is looking forward to starting his career with the company.
