Thesis Abstract

Executive Summary

The Recreation Hall project consists of 48,381 ft2. It consists of an addition phase and renovation phase. The addition area consists of a ground floor and a mezzanine level. It will house a new student fitness room as well as a few offices. The facade is mostly a curved glass curtain wall mixed with brick. The renovation area will enlarge the Penn State Wrestling room and provide a "walk of honor" that will hold the many trophies of the Penn State Wrestling Team. The renovation also involves the construction of new bathrooms, locker rooms and offices.
