Greg Kemerer's Bio

RESUME

Greg Kemerer is presently working toward his bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in Construction Management, from The Pennsylvania State University. Currently in his 5th year, Greg plans to graduate in the Fall of 2006. In his time at Penn State, Greg has rowed with the varsity crew team, sailed competitively, and is currently the Vice President of Student Affairs for the Engineering Undergraduate Council. In addition he is also a member of S:PACE, SSAE, and the Penn State Longboarding Club. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, skateboarding, and brewing beer.

Greg has expanded his academic knowledge of and gained practical experience through internships. In the summer of 2003, Greg worked with the mechanical systems design-build firm Southland Industries in Washington, D.C. There he worked on several projects including the new Census Bureau, the Pentagon Renovation, and the Defense THreat REduction Center. The following summer Greg worked for Bovis Lend Lease out of the Chicago area. While with Bovis he worked as an assistant superintendant on a federal office building being constructed in the UIC Medical District. Gregs future goals include gaining a LEED professional accredidation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
