Jayme Antolik

Jayme Antolik is a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at the Pennsylvania State University.  She intends on graduating in the summer of 2006 with integrated Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and Master of Architectural Engineering degrees focusing in Mechanical Systems.  Jayme has had two internships that have given her design experience in building mechanical systems and have helped to continue her college career.  During the summer of 2004 she worked for Kling in Philadelphia, PA where she worked on research and development projects for Pfizer and Aventis doing basic mechanical design and supply air load calculations.  This past summer, 2005, Jayme worked for Cannon Design in New York City.  While she enjoyed living in the metropolitan area, she also expanded her experience greatly by working on mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing coordination for a new building for the Hospital for Special Surgery on 71st Street.   Along with MEP coordination, she did duct, reverse return piping, and heat pump layout design.

Apart from classes and internships, Jayme enjoys traveling and being a part of campus life at Penn State.  She was selected to study at the University of Leeds, England in the Fall of 2004 where she had the opportunity to experience a different culture and see other countries such as France, Belgium, Holland, and Northern Ireland.  At Penn State, Jayme is a member of the student chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Architectural Engineering Honor Society, Phi Alpha Epsilon, and has participated in Penn State's dance marathon (THON) which benefits children with cancer.   She also participates in the Work-Study program at the Art Galleries in the Hetzel Union Building on campus.
