• The first technical assignment was to conduct a study of the building in relation to ASHRAE Standard 62.1. The Ventilation Rate Procedure was used to determine whether or not the current design of the building met ASHRAE Standard 62.1 ventilation requirements.

Technical Assignment #2

• This technical assignment had to do with the building's energy usage. The building was evaluated with the LEED rating system. Standard 90, sections 5 & 9, were also used to evaluate the building. Cost issues were also looked at as lost rentable space and first cost of mechanical systems. The majority of the report deals with load estimation and energy usage simulation with Carrier's Hourly Analysis Program (HAP).

• Technical assignment #3 dealt with the existing conditions of the building. A discussion of the project's design criteria and objectives was included in this report. This report also looks at the major systems within the building and how they operate through descriptions, schematics, and schedules. The report also critiques the existing system.
