Proposal

The Lighting Proposal consists of a simple report on the four spaces that I will be performing analysis on in Technical Assignment 1 and the lighting design portion of my Thesis.

Technical Assignment 1

The Technical Assignment 1 consist of a brief overview of the existing lighting systems in the New Indianapolis International Airport - Midfield Terminal. Analysis and critique are performed on the proposed 4 spaces that I intended to redesign. All design criteria has followed strictly with the ASHRAE 90.1 -1999 standards and the IESNA lighting handbook, 9th editioin.

The Technical Assignment 2 consist of an analysis of the existing electrical distribution system of the new Indianapolis International Airport- the new Concourse B, as well as comparasion of NEC calculated full building loads to the actual consumption of the building. A narrative or a summary of different area studied includes the emergency power systems, transformers, wiring and bus types, distribution voltages, equipment locations, voltage drops, short circuit current, power factor, total harmonic design consideration, transient voltage surge suppression design, energy conservation consideration, tenant area design and aircraft service with fixed group power units.
