Phil Mackey's Bio
Phil Mackey is a 5th year student in the 5 year ABET accredited Architectural Engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University. He is pursuing an integrated MAE/BAE degree with an anticipated graduation in December 2006. Phil is currently studying in the Lighting/Electrical option with an emphasis in electrical design. He is also treasurer of the Penn State IES Student Chapter. Phil worked the past two summers in electrical design internships at Leach Wallace Associates and Reese Engineering, located in Baltimore, MD and State College, PA, respectively. He enjoyed designing lighting and electrical systems for hospitals and retirement communities, and the challenges those building types possessed. In his free time, Phil is an avid sports fan and participant. He enjoys playing soccer, golf, football, and skiing, among other activities.
