WELCOME TO BRANDON C. McKEE'S SENIOR THESIS e-PORTFOLIO
Brandon McKee is currently in his fifth year of study at The Pennsylvania State University. He will graduate in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, with a focus in construction management. His interest in the industry started at a young age through family construction projects and a high school career of architectural and engineering based courses.
He has spent his summers exploring various parts of the industry including real estate development, estimating and project management with a general contractor, and two summers as a laborer on various projects.
Brandon passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in April 2006 and anticipates pursuing a professional engineering license and possibly LEED accreditation. Upon graduation Brandon will start a career with a general contractor in the Washington D.C. area. Through the knowledge gained in his coursework and personal experiences, he feels confident of a smooth transition into industry.
Brandon was very interested in selecting Ambridge Area High School for his thesis research. As a graduate of the high school this building replaces, he takes pride in exploring the project further.
