NEWS/UPDATES: What is the Capstone Project e-Portfolio? The Capstone Project e-Portfolio is part of the fifth-year AE Senior Thesis project in Architectural Engineering at Penn State University. This site is designed to display building information and student research for the analysis and re-design of the selected building. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.

I would like to thank my project sponsors Severud Associates, The Durst Organization, and all the companies involved with this project for providing resources and the opportunity to use this building for my senior thesis project.
Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of this CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Andrew Covely. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
