Thesis Abstract
Executive Summary
The Center for the Arts Building located on the campus of The University
of Delaware is a performing arts center that includes a recital hall, proscenium
theatre, orchestra rehearsal and theatre rehearsal. The Center for the Arts
also contains offices, practice rooms and storage areas for the performng
spaces. Each of the performing spaces has a two inch open joint isolation
from the common spaces structural systems to provide vibration and acoustic
isolation.
