Technical Assignment #2

This technical assignment analyzes the key features of the renovation that will effect project execution. Imperative cost and schedule breakdowns are used to outline the project by trade. Included within is a detailed project schedule, an improved site layout plan, an assemblies estimate, a detailed structural systems estimate, and a general conditions estimate. This assignment was submitted on October 30, 2006.

Technical Assignment #3

This report was the last technical assignment submittal to be introduced to the Penn State AE faculty. It begins to identify core areas of the project, which will make good research candidates for possible final thesis considerations. Emphasis for this assignment focuses on alternative methods of construction, value engineering, and schedule compression. Within this document you will find revised critical industry issues, critical issues research methods, revised problem identifications, and an analysis of technical methods.
