Driscoll, Dana Lynn, and Allen Brizee. "Conducting Primary Research." Welcome to the Purdue University Online Writing Lab. Web. 23 Jan. 2012. <http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/559/7/>.
The "Conducting Primary Research" guide helped in the development of industry surveys.  This guide featured information regarding the impartiality of surveys as well as how to effectively word survey questions.

Fahnestock, Barry. "Design-Build Team Dynamic Survey." E-mail interview. 13 Feb. 2012.*

"Field Implementation of BIM." BIM KIOSK - Facilitating the Field Implementation of BIM. Modulus Consulting. Web. 08 Mar. 2012. < http://www.modulusconsulting.com/bimkiosk>.
Modulus Consulting's website highlights the means and methods through which BIM Kiosks are traditionally implemented.  This source provided substantial background information regarding the infrastructure and training required to successfully implement BIM Kiosk technologies.

Franz, Bryan. “360 Evaluations Survey.” E-mail interview. 10 Mar. 2012.*

Horton, Delayne. "Facade Trade Survey." E-mail interview. 8 Feb. 2012.*

Kraft Tool Company. Masonry Guide Overview & Instructions. Kraft Tool Company, 2007. PDF.
Kraft Tool's contractor guides provide construction means, methods, and assembly information.  This particular guide covers the assembly, implementation and use of corner masonry guides.  This information was used to determine whether or not masonry guides would be beneficial on the Office Building project.

"Many of Our Clients Often Ask for Clarification." BrickSync 1 (2008): 1. BricksInc.net. Web. 7 Feb. 2012.
This source, provided by BricksInc.net, contained information regarding the productivity rates of various brick sizes when installed linearly and about a corner.  This data helped establish an understanding of the productivity gains of linear construction compared to corner construction, and created a backbone for the entire facade simplification analysis.

Plutko, Robert. "Facade Trade Survey." E-mail interview. 15 Feb. 2012.*

Sandeen, Jeffrey. "Design-Build Team Dynamic Survey." E-mail interview. 3 Feb. 2012.*

Schneier, Marc M., and Justin Sweet. Legal Aspects of Architecture, Engineering and the Construction Process. Independence, KY: Nelson Engineering, 2012. Print.
The Legal Aspects textbook was required for AE 598D - Construction Contracting and provided valuable information regarding the contract language and verbiage unique to design build projects.  The resource also highlighted areas of construction contracting that frequently lead to disagreements and litigation.  These "hotspots" were related to the clarity of project team expectations, a sometimes ambiguous aspect of design-build team relationships.  The textbook brought to light many contract details that require additional attention, especially in a design-build contractual agreement.

"Survey Design." How to Begin Your Survey Design Project. American Marketing Association. Web. 23 Jan. 2012. <http://www.surveysystem.com/sdesign.htm>.
Much like the "Conducting Primary Research" source, the American Marketing Association's survey design resource helped in the development of industry surveys.  This guide focused on maintaining the impartiality and unbiased aspects of survey questions.

Thomas, H. Randolph, and Ralph D. Ellis. Interpreting Construction Contracts: Fundamental Principles for Contractors, Project Managers, and Contract Administrators. Reston, VA: American Society of Civil Engineers, 2007. Print.
Much like the Legal Aspects textbook, the Interpreting Construction Contracts textbook was essential to understanding and avoiding problem areas of construction contracting, especially in the design-build project arrangement.

Tocci, John. "Integrated Project Delivery Method." AE 572 Class. The Pennsylvania State University, State College. Mar. 2011. Lecture.
John Tocci's presentation on the Integrated Project Delivery Method helped pinpoint some of the problem areas that are unique to integrated project arrangements.  These areas were then researched in the aforementioned legal textbooks, providing valuable information into the management and alleviation of legal issues related to integrated project mangement.

Umosella, Nicholas. "Design-Build Team Dynamic Survey." Telephone interview. 13 Feb. 2012.*

Young, Brett. "Senior Thesis Project - BIM Kiosks." Message to the author. 31 Jan. 2012. E-mail.
Brett Young provided information, in addition to the information obtained from his website, http://www.modulusconsulting.com/, related to the implementation and productivity gains of BIM Kiosks.

*Starred items represent trade survey responses that provided valuable trade professional insight into the rammifications and justifications of each design change decision.  These responses are available in the Appendices of the Final Report.
