Proposal
This report details the planned research and analysis topics for the upcoming spring semester. The first item discussed is the critical industry issue of subcontractor bid markups. The research will assess the characteristics of CM and GC companies that cause these markups to vary so widely within the industry. Next, the report details three technical analyses to be performed on the Cancer Institute, with a focus on value engineering, constructability, and schedule reduction. At the conclusion of the research, the findings will be documented and presented before a jury for evaluation.
