Thesis Proposal

The thesis proposal summarizes the depth and breadth work that I will be completing for the Franklin Care Center. The lighting system will be redesigned to create a residential environment while catering to the visual needs of the elderly. For the electrical depth the step down transformers will be relocated, and addition transformers will be added. The feeders running to these transformers will then be resized. The cost analysis of these new desings will be performed, and serve as a Construction Management breadth. Since the Franklin Care Center will be a LEED certified building, a LEED breadth will also be performed. This will consist of designing a perimeter control system and will allow the Franklin Care Center to obtain Indoor Environmental Quality Credit 6.1 Perimeter Control Systems.
