Technical Assignment 1

The following technical assignment: Lighting Existing Conditions and Design Criteria, analyses the current lighting plan for the Franklin Care Center. The lighting designed for the physical therapy suite, main entrance lobby, chapel and courtyard is analyzed based on design criteria and AGI32 calculations of the existing conditions. Daylighting studies are included for the physical therapy suite and main entrance lobby.

The following technical assignment: Existing Electrical Conditions and Building Load Summary, analyses the current electrical design for the Franklin Care Center. Lighting loads, mechanical equpiment and receptacle loads were calculated based on the 2002 National Electric Code.

Technical Assignment 3

The following technical assignment is a schematic lighting design proposal for the Frankln Care Center. It is in presentation format, and will be presented to a panel of lighting designers. The main goal of the schematic design was to create a residentail atmosphere in the Franklin Care Center. Specific lighting goals were set for the main entrance lobby, physical therapy suite, chapel, and couryard. The schematic design focuses on how each space should be illuminated to meet those goals.
