FINAL REPORT

This report investigates the feasibility of implementing a post-tensioned concrete beam and slab floor system in a cast-in-place concrete frame and redesigning the lateral system using cast-in-place shearwalls. The main objective of this investigation is to determine if any savings in floor depth can be gained by switching from a composite steel structure to a post-tensioned concrete structure in addition to gaining experience in concrete design.
