Final Thesis Report
The following report is a culmination of the past year's research and
analysis of the Metropolis of Dadeland, Phase I as I have analyzed various
aspects of the building. The depth work has been an analysis of the possibility
of converting the structure of the building from concrete with post-tensioned
slabs to a steel frame. The breadth analysis has been an investigation of
the impacts of the electrical system by adding some lighting into a typical
condominium unit and a cost comparison between the existing concrete structure
and my proposed steel structure.
