Summary
The depth investigation that I am proposing is to generate a new column
layout that is a uniform grid to allow a new structural system to be efficient.
I plan to follow that by Implementing a steel frame.
Proposal
The breadth areas I propose to investigate are the construction management
issues inherent when using a completely different structural system and
new electrical wiring since lighting can be installed in the ceiling with
the addition of a dropped ceiling below the steel framework.
