Easton Red Nittany Lion Scholarship

Requirements:

Pre-college students from Easton Area High School

Purpose:

Provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of engineering at the Pennsylvania State University and who have demonstrated financial need to meet their necessary college expenses.

Eligibility:

CONSIDERATION FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP:
? full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Engineering, and have met the
acceptance criteria for admission to The Pennsylvania State University;
? achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success;
? demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid, which requires the completion of a
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form;
? and graduate of Easton Area High School in Easton, PA.
? First preference shall be given to students who meet the above criteria, and who are U.S. Citizens, first
generation college students, and have demonstrated leadership and participation in extra-curricular activities.

Terms of Award:

TERMS OF AWARD: A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded for one academic year and may be renewed for
subsequent years providing the recipient continues to meet the conditions of eligibility, maintains a
cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and funds are available. The recipient will be notified no later than May 1.
