Penn State Study Abroad Application Deadlines, Notifications, and Commitments

Spring 2026 applications are open! 

Early Action Deadlines: 

Students will need to submit their application by May 15, 2025

Students will receive notification of the application decision on June 11, 2025

Students will need to commit to their program by October 1, 2025

(This deadline is only for a select few programs. Visit the program page for details.)

Final Deadlines: 

Students will need to submit their application by September 8, 2025

Students will receive notification of the application decision on September 24, 2025

Students will need to commit to their program by October 1, 2025

Stratigic Partner Deadlines:

(Strategic Partners include Freiburg, University of Freiburg, Kuala Lumpur: Monash University Malaysia, Melbourne: Monash University)

Students will need to submit their application by October 1, 2025

Students will receive notification of the application decision on October 9, 2025

Students will need to commit to their program by October 15, 2025

Students should consult with their study abroad adviser on their Spring 2026 program deadline.
