Cornerstone-to-Capstone Learning
In the College of Engineering, we give students the tools to succeed from day one to graduation. Our cornerstone-to-capstone approach helps you build a solid foundation in engineering and then apply what you’ve learned to real-world challenges.
In your first two years, you’ll dive into engineering principles through hands-on labs, team projects, and interactive courses in math, science, and design. You won’t just learn theories—you’ll put them into action.
As you move forward, you’ll take specialized courses and tackle major design projects that mimic real engineering work. Your capstone project, sponsored by industry leaders, will have you working in a team to solve complex, real-world problems, proving your skills in innovation, communication, and problem-solving during your final year.
Along the way, you’ll have access to cutting-edge facilities like modern labs, makerspaces, and The Learning Factory, where you can get hands-on experience in prototyping and manufacturing.
