Across the greenspace of the West Campus quad, between the Earth and Engineering Sciences Building to the north and Leonhard Building to the south, sits the new Engineering Design and Innovation Building.

Cornerstone to capstone maker spaces
- Multi-use design labs with the resources to help undergraduate students make their ideas reality
- Collaborative areas where academia and industry partner to educate students and solve real-world problems
- Includes the expanded Learning Factory and the Factory for Advanced Manufacturing Education Lab
